Got it working, it is the shit. From the power of my handheld i can access my all my music on my desktop and play it through my surround sound downstairs - or any other room in the house for that matter.
It was a long hard road - everything (even what you would think would be the simplest things) went wrong. Makes getting it working that much sweeter
