I'd love Star Wars sequels, but as much of a Star Wars dork as I am, I wouldn't want any of them to be about the previous movies, or star any of the original cast. That's just a really bad idea that has way too many possibilities of being fucked up. I'd rather see a new story be told that takes place after the original trilogy with new characters and a new look to the series.
I hate to bring videogames into this section, but Knights of the Old Republic proved that the Star Wars universe can be simply amazing despite having anything to do with any of the movies. I enjoyed this game more than the prequels. It's all about execution, characters, directing, and a damn good screenplay.
A trilogy of sequels could work very well, and it is pretty damn exciting to see information about it, but I just hope for my life that they don't star the original actors. Get a damn good screenwriter, a damn good director, and a line-up of damn good actors. The Star Wars universe is already there, the storytelling is the only thing that needs to be done.
