Lots of practice. That's all I can really say, you have to keep at it until you have it down for sure. The more you go the better your balance will be and you'll learn what to do when the time comes.
Other then that, the only tips I have are to spot your landing and to have your knees slightly bent and absorb the impact with your knees as you land.
