What about the robber that sued the homeowner for shooting him after the robber had broken into the guy's house. That took some thought, if I remember the homeowner actually had to pay for the robbers doctor bill... Its sad to think but the homeowner might have been better off if his shot had killed the robber, no court is going to convict someone for shooting a robber that broke into your house at midnight.

Heh my local town cop told me if someone is breaking into your house and you shoot him...make sure you kill him so he can't sue....
