Back to your question, Afterburn, with some girls (well I only know for sure about myself, but than it becomes so personal héy) you can tell by "examening" their facial skin thoroughly. You could notice some small zits or "unpurities on the skin", that weren't there during the rest of the month. Well at least with "younger girls", i don't know if this is a continuing trend when girls get older...
As for the white pants... i don't see a legitimate reason for anyone to wear white trousers, male or femalel, periods or no periods, distastefull or just colour-blind!
