Sure it's possible, but let's not forget one important thing:
Outside of Harrison Ford (and the late Sir Alec Guiness), that cast was the lamest bunch of C-Actors to ever disgrace the screen. Star Wars is great because of the story, not because of Mark Hamil or Billy Dee Williams.
