Absolutely has to be The Beatles.
I often wonder which direction popular music would have taken without these guys. The trend that was set by them is still going strong.

I like the way you're thinking here, Tophat. I've been a Cult fan since their first album. They took me on a lot of great trips
The Beatles are the best and my all-time favorite, but a close second is The Allman Brothers Band. Never get tired of hearing either.
