I have a question about this statement.
How would a successful, non-Christian country fall into your system (eg. Japan)? Would you say that failure is just a matter of time? Would you say that such a country could function as long as they have some sort of spiritual basis? Or are you just saying that the United States in particular is a theist nation requiring God?
Or something else?
