I guess I'm the only one that finds this distracting. I like locking eyes with my gf periodically, I agree about increasing the intensity...but too much looking makes me lose my concentration. Maybe because I know what she's thinking, especially after we've been going at it a while. Sometimes she'll blurt out during sex "are you ok?". LOL god that's the worst. Maybe it's the faces I make, I dunno. But she thinks sometimes I'm not gonna cum or I'm bored...but sometimes it happens where it's more difficult to cum and I do need concentration and if my gf is staring right at me the whole time I can't finish.
