Cat lady stepped to the center of her ring with her microphone. "Alright now! Team Light will face off against team Dim! Will each team please send one fighter to the ring!" Amarth and Matt were paying little attention to the announcer and didn't hear their name called. As usual, they were fighting.
"This is a waste of my time!" said Amarth. "You're the one I wanna fight!"
"Any time any where tough guy," replied Matt.
Team Dim's representative had already stepped into the ring. His name was Gargoth. He was a large man, standing about seven feet, wielding a huge battle axe. "Look at these weaklings. They can't even coordinate their efforts and they expect to beat us!"
"Last I checked this was a one on one fight you fool!" spoke Amarth as he stepped into the ring.
As he climbed in Eldaire spoke to Heero. "I would almost rather the big guy win this match so that Amarth would learn his lesson. Buuuut, I don't think it's gonna happen today."
"Indeed," replied Heero.
"Weakling. I will crush you!" taunted Gargoth.
"You stupid fool."
"Fighers to your positions! Ready?! Begin!"
Gargoth swung his huge axe at Amarth. Amarth made no movements. As the axe hit him, he was suddenly gone. Gargoth looked around in cofusion. He caught eyes with Matt who made a motion towards Gargoth's back. Before Gargoth could turn around, he felt a sharp pain in his back. He looked down and saw a sword sticking out of his chest.
"No!" shouted Eldaire. "That's not how we fight Amarth!"
"Relax oh noble one. I missed his vitals he's fine. Just in excrutiating pain." Amarth grinned a bit watching Gargoth squirm on the ring floor. "Weakling." Amarth kicked him hard and sent him rolling out of the ring.
Cat lady jumped back onto the ring. "Ring out! Winner... Team Light!" Amarth quietly walked back out of the ring. He gave Matt a wicked look with a sly grin.
"You beat me last time Matt, but as you can see I've been training. I'm taking you down after this."
"You're not the only one who trains you know."
"Hmph."
