"Good job, little one." Freya purrs as she pats Claudia's golden curly head. Claudia glares at her and runs her hand over her cheek, where there is a tiny scar.
Annika nods"Right, good Claudia. just remember, you're not invincible. only tiny cuts will heal on you. so don't get cocky.'
'ugh...i WONT! i won, didn't i?!' the little girl says, irritated.
dara rolls her eyes and notices another shadowy ninja-freak demon step into the center of the field, standing motionless.
[ooc: oh yeah, this team that i'm apparently fighting against is made up of all shadowy ninja-freak demons with different skills. okay]
she stops in front of him. he bows. she nods her head curtly.
a voice is heard: 'fighters....begin!' and they step back together, and suddenly quick as lighting are fighting. the ninja demon chooses offense first, and dara defends herself calmly, hoping to tire him out. but he keeps coming mercilessly on, never seeming to tire. this upsets dara and she finally breaks out her real moves. when he finally stops his incessant barrage of kicks and grabs that she blithely defends, she jumps into the air and delivers a tough roundhouse, clocking him on the side of the face. he falls back and gets back up, and she tries to trap his arms. But he counters her, twisting her shoulder until there is a loud pop, and she falls backwards into the dirt. she jumps up, then swan-dives into the dirt, tackling his legs and causing him to fall.
straddling him, she plants her knees on the inside of the elbows ofhis struggling arms. she then delivers a sound chop to his throat and he stops, holding his hands up to signify a surrender.
the voice comes again, 'once again, Disgrace beats Nutsy! back to your corner'
She jumps up and brushes off her knees, smiling only a little, and walks back to her team, rubbing her shoulder.
