Hmm...some interesting opinions in this thread.
As for me, 0ga in both ears, and honestly don't care what the majority of the population thinks about it. No offense to anyone, but when it comes to my appearance, I'm all about pleasing me.
No "rebellious statements", it's just that I greatly prefer the appearance of me ears with visible holes in them.
So far, my school doesn't mind, my very conservative job only requires that I wear solid plugs on the job, and the guys I'm going into business with think it's cool.
So, it looks like I'm going to be happy when I look in the mirror and in my wallet.
As most of family has pointed out: It won't look so hot once you're 80.
As I pointed out: NOTHING on me will look "hot" at 80.
