No offense, but some of you guys are missing the point.
The object is to dump the lemon and get another car. It is not unprecidented. There are car companies out there that offer a 30 satisfaction guarantee, etc.
When you lay out big cash for a new car in good faith, you have a certain expectation of quality. It is quite disheartening to have the motor die on you.
The question isn't whether or not she is entitled to exchange the vehicle, the question is, How does one best tackle the issue and force Honda to exchange the vehicle.
You have to think more like a consumer and less like a dealer.
