The story moves *way* too fast, and the only reason someone would do this is to make some kind of moral point. I'm glad some of you liked this story, but it made my gut wrench, in a bad way. The dude stopped caring about her for no reason at all, acting like that is how it happens in real life. Was there an acohol addiction or something? The story is totally unrealistic and sounds an awful lot like a bunch of "love" stories I wrote when I was 13 and 14, just so you know.
