I am going to go out on a limb here. It’s my own personal view of what I see, of course I could be wrong.
It is obvious that you still like this girl. The initial courting ritual didn’t work out, for whatever reason that may be. I certainly hope it was not because you were to shy (or afraid of rejection) to ask her out yourself and expected her to make the first move. Now she is still interested in you. Yet you are too shy (or afraid or both) to ask her out. So what you want is for her to stop liking you so that way you can feel secure about not loosing an opportunity of dating this girl.
If this is the case I got to tell you that you are just fooling yourself. If you don’t at least try you will always regret it. Rejections are so easy to deal with, the heart heals fast, and you learn to move on. But nothing is worse then wondering if she could have said “yes”. That question will never go away for the rest of your life. So do yourself a big favor, just ask this girl out already!
