Visibly relaxing at D'Aleen's touch, Thantos mentions the poem he found in the desk.
"My dear, trust is often given too easily. True trust needs to be earned and is awarded based on actions. The cat, nor James for that matter, have done anything wrong, nor anything as of yet to acquire my trust.
In addition to this fact, I found a poem about a smiling cat in the desk. I think it is too strange that the poem exists in the same room that we find a talking, smiling cat. I'm not saying we can't trust the cat but we need to find more information out first."
