It's not that your arms are getting shorter - it's just that the world is getting darker If only there was as much light around as when we were 20, we'd see just fine.

Seriously, though - everyone's eyes change shape as they age, making reading glasses (or more) a certainty for everyone lucky enough to outlive their good eyesight.

I'm at +1.00 reading glasses now (the weakest) but I hate it! You do not suffer alone, my friend.
