[OOC: Alright *cracks knuckles* hopefully I dont loose against myself. I'll introduce the first fighter then the rest of the team]
As Ulgar screams out his challenge, the crowd erupts with cheers (obviously expecting a good fight). Several fighters notice groups of spectators exchanging money for betting stubs, and a giant chalk board appears with odds and winnings. After a few minutes the crowd grows silent as a man kneeling in the Lancelot cordon stands. He is dressed in ancient chain mail and garbed in a flowing white tunic emblazoned with a blood red cross. In one hand he holds a dark iron footman's mace, and a giant kite shield rests on his other arm. His features are hidden by a visored helm but long golden hair can be seen escaping beneath it. He walks calmly towards the centre of the arena and stands opposite Ulgar. He speaks softly, but due to the design of the arena, his voice carries even to the far reaches of the stands.
I am Sir. Gendan of the order of the crusaders. I meet your challenge Ulgar Tresk. May the light prevail. You may have the honor of striking first
With that the knight steps back and readies his weapon and shield. Ulgar nods and saultes the knight, then with a mighty roar he leaps forward and brings his axe down with a rush of force and ferocity that momentarily stuns the crowd.
