Ford... i liked the Mustang, but drop this copying old cars crap. i don't mind retro. i like the Prowler, i like the PT Cruiser, i like the SSR, but the fact of the matter is that all of these LOOK retro, but none are actual copies of old cars with sharper edges. they are conglomorations of several retro ideas from various cars in order to produce a new, ORIGINAL vehicle. i consider it half-assed (as an artist) to simply re-make an old car with the only changes being to modernize the appearance to current tastes.
what's done under the hood... marvelous. bravo. but tell your designers to get off their asses and draw something fresh.
