Yeah I've done it a couple times. Its not dangerous to the body if you take a 4 or 8 ounce bottle of robotussin extra strength cough syrup, it is however dangerous if you take corecedin or other drugs with dextromethorphan. Its no cheap high either, you get royally messed up on that stuff. Its nasty as hell to drink it, but can be a fun time in the right environment.
Also I read the only reason this stuff is still legal is because the only other things that work on coughs like dextromethorphan does are opiates.
