While that bothered me too, Israel did blow up Iraq's nuclear power plant. Something I am very thankful for, but you could argue that it was Israel that attacked first.
Regardless the Arab state controlled press constantly blames Israel for everything, hate is taught in all their schools, and history is only taught in ways which give Arabs claim to all of Israel.
One of the nicest and most gentile guys I knew was a Jordanian. He was highly educated and very intelligent, (we were in the same program, he had to be
). One night we were working late on our projects and we started talking politics. Despite going to top Jordanian schools, he never knew that Jews had been in Israel prior to the Arabs, and he was taught nothing prior to the Crusades. His fathers generation was referred to something like 'the losers' since they had lost to Israel in 67, and while he said they aren’t anti-Semitic, he then mentioned the prophecies they are taught where the Jews are all pushed into the sea.
