I don’t believe in resolutions.

A resolution is something you are planning to do. That’s a lie to oneself. If you really wanted it then you would not wait till January 1st to start doing it. You would do it right now. Pushing something back to a later date means is just giving oneself an opportunity to make up excuses. If one is looking at a goal and the road looks hard then one should never lie to oneself and think that it will be easier a day, or a week or a month from now.

At least that’s the way it’s always been for me. I would have accomplished so many things in my life if I just went ahead and started doing them the moment they came up. I learned my lesson well. Procrastination is the killer of willpower.

Rant over, hurray!

My goal this year is to bike across the province of Ontario with my friend this summer. I started training for it a month and a half ago.
