Download the removal tool and follow the instructions:

Download your patch from microsoft and run it (install): http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...0/download.asp

Download the MS Service Pack 1 for Windows XP if you use Windows XP and install:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/p...p1/network.asp

If you don't use XP, then run the WindowsUpdate Utility and install all updates until no more appear in the download manager.
