Well, I do believe there is a serious amount of self-fucking when it comes to people in general.
However convincing all of them all the time about it is not that easy (there have been some success stories tho).
Perhaps another question along those lines is, if God is truly fucking with you, do you want to extract some revenge?
I would be perfectly happy to ignore God, just to find out after death that he or whatever was fucking with me and reply with: "Whatever."
I will admit that life isn't fair, nor logical in any form of debate (yeah, i don't give the philosophical angle too much credit), there are some things which are really not worth the effort. Getting revenge on God could only lead to silly outcomes, and most likely just waste your time.
So yeah, it may be true God is churning your life just for grins. But whether or not it affects your decisions is truly your own choice. That is how you can define your own happiness, if it exists.
For me, time is a great commodity. I can't afford to lose that much of it on revenge.
Porn is another matter, though.
