I grew up listening to mostly rap and R&B, then brnaching out into dance/tekno. Then when I went to college I had a roommate that was my total opposite in every way, especially in musical preferences (So much for the questionnaire I filled out to match you with a roomie!). Anyway, he got me hooked on Pink Floyd (Thank YOU!!), Metallica, Megadeth, etc. Then I branched out from there on my own. Marilyn Manson, Korn, Biohazard, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, Pantera(!), Slayer, Sepultura, etc. All along the way I kept listening to everything I had previoulsy listened to also. Just recently I broke up with a girl that was a Country Music fanatic so I pretty much run the gamut now.
I'm a music fanatic and with the discovery of Napster a few years ago I would sit in my office at work and download just about everything I had ever heard of (dedicated T1 lines are great!) I now have over 100 CR-R's with mp3's and somewhere around 700 store bought CD's. Everything from Patsy Cline to Type O Negative to Stravinsky to Joseph Fire Crow to El Burro Pardo.
