I am overweight, happily married, and not hideous... I wake up and am aware of how I look. I don't think I'm some kind of hottie, but I am not ashamed of being ME. Me is a big dude with a lot of love and no small amount of charm and wit. That's okay... Do I wish I were more attractive?? I don't know. My wife says if I was TOO good looking, I'd just be dangerous. <grin>
