No, there isn't 6 guards better then him, but Melo and LeBron play 2 different positions.
Melo is at 18.7ppg and 6.4rpg, Lebron at 20.2 and 6.0. Lebron plays 5 minutes more a game, he also handle's the ball up the floor. Melo doesn't. Lebron's TO/A ratio is hardly what a top notch point gaurd should be at 1.55. Kidd is around 3. Melo is a SF, he doesn't need to create for everyone else.
To say he doesn't have the poise yet to be where the Lebron is is just ludicris, Clevlend has no one else, Lebron has to play well, or they don't win. Melo doesn't have that pressure.
Both have they're ups and downs, Lebron turns the ball over alot, Melo can be inconsitent at times.
They both will be great NBA players, as far as an All Star, how can Lebron not be? I don't see Melo not having the poise. He doesn't get nearly the media, or the coverage, but he performs when he has to.
Both will be great to watch for a long time to come.
