This was done in a film.. i'm thinking Carlito's Way, but i could be way off.... anyways some italian gangster film....
I think that tests do happen though like it or not. How else would people decide. Even when it's down to the 'well if she doesn't phone me back...' I'd consider that a test (even though it can state the obvious!)
