It just takes awhile to adjust to them. I had them for almost 4 years myself. The best kisser I ever kissed had braces at the time. She just took it so slow and easy (it was like heaven). The baddest part about braces are the few days after a tightening. Her teeth are going to be so sore that she won't feel like making out, etc.
