Yes, that card IS better than the one you already have, by quite a bit. It is the best budget card around. I was going to get one, but I decided to wait until I have finished upgrading my current system, then I will see how much money I have left. Do you have any more info on the GeForceFX? Some manufacturers of the card are different to others. Something I heard is that some manufacturers include a flipchip, whatever that is, but its bad for performance, so you will need to find a manufacturer that doesnt include them. Something else that you will need to find out is whether your current motherboard will support the card, and this doesn't necessarily mean AGP speed. I had troubles with my current card even though on the box it said that it supported 2x AGP. The FSB on my motherboard wasn't fast enough, so I had to use Coolbits to slow the card down.
