Actually, I drive an old '77 Chevy pick-up. It has as many dents and dings as it does rust spots. A real P.O.S., but it runs great and is easy as hell to work on.
Point is...I notice that people maintain a healthy and respectable distance from me when I drive that truck, as opposed to...oh...say, my wife's Saturn. I suppose that people realize that I don't really give a rat's ass what the truck really looks like, and will "take the hit".
So, laugh at my old P.O.S. if you will...hell, I do, after all. But, my stress level, during my commute to and from work, has drasticaly been reduced since I started driving it.
