I agree with your friends man, I went to one a few years back and this big dude with a beard and torn leather spun me around and challenged me to a game of Backgammon, bloody freaky shit man, had to let him win, who knows what he would've done to me, I wasn't really into finding out whether he enjoyed Connect-4.
