I've read the various features, and one part really bothers me - everything the robot sees and hears is transmitted to the Universal Retention Network... Big Brother, anyone?
This also reminds me of a few scenes in the Animatrix... here you have a machine that can lift 800 pounds, and is designed to be your personal butler. You've got 3 prime directives designed to keep humans safe. What is there's a bug? Watch the hilarity ensue as the machine rips your brains out! Woohoo!
Seriously though, if its for real, then serious strides in AI and robotics have been made without me ever hearing of them. I wish these engineers best of luck, because even if we are not ready for household robots today, tomorrow our kids might gladly use them.
