people and their desire for money... pisses me off really. i don't think the city had any intention of actually harming the kid. it's the kid's fault (and probaby the mother's too) for hitting his head on the railing. the mother should have been on watch and the kid should be looking on where he's going (even thoug he's 2, but still...). hopefully the judge ain't too sympathetic...
