Identical to The White Stripes?
Please explain how a 5 member band can be identical to a 2 member band? The singing, drumming, lyrics, style, etc are completely different. Maybe you were thinking of another band? The Velvet Underground maybe?

Yeah, I mean theres nothing original about The Mars Volta at all. Not to mention the fact that music doesn't have to be original to be good.
That said, I like The Strokes. And The Mars Volta.
