Robbery makes you feel so violated. I had a car broken into years ago when I was at the end of a long business trip. They got every one of my suit pants but not the jackets. Unfortunately, the jackets were for suits so you couldn't match them up as sport coats. I had spent money and time building up the wardobe for work and had little money left. Plus, I rented and had no insurance coverage on auto contents - did get $200 from car insurance.
Another time my wife's jewlery was taken, we think by a freind of one of our kids. That was bad because some was from her grandmother.
But I agree with everyone else.... it could always be worse, especially if things were taken and not irreplaceables.
