Guy up here with an 03 Sonic Blue Cobra, named Allen, has a 11.3 second car, just over 3k in mods. The car will do it, easily. I can link you to his Dyno sheet of 473rwhp too if you like.

If you knew as much as you profess to, you would know that the 03 Cobra is a completely different animal. Biggest difference being a little thing called a supercharger
03: 4.6L DOHC
Supercharged rated at just a tad under 400 hp
01: 4.6L DOHC
naturaly aspirated rated at, what, 320 hp?
That 3k in mods your buddy did was most likely, oh I dunno, maybe a smaller pully to increase boost, larger fuel injectors to burn the boost, and a computer chip/reprogram to control it all? Ya. That'll getcha about 475 hp or so
But anyway, hey SVT01Cobra....fuck drag racing man....with that car, you should try real racing....ya know, the kind with turns?
Seriously tho, that car would do well (IRS, good low end torque, etc) at AutoX or road courses. Tons of fun man...
