I'll be honest, most of the time when I 'hooked' up with someone I was at least buzzed and they were all sober. It wasn't like I was looking for liquid courage, I just happened to be drinking. Luckily only ONCE was it a beer goggle situation (unclean, unclean!) and the rest were all pretty cute. I even married one of them, and we have been together now for 12 years.
Being stupid drunk of course won't help you, but one thing women want is confidence and a lack of desperation. They won't tell you this but they don't want the nice guy, who OBVIOUSLY wants them. They want the guy who acts like he could take them or leave them. By the time I figured this out, I went from dating now and then with nothing serious to dating 4 girls at once (and ended up marrying one of them). Women are not hard to understand as long as you do what they really want and not what they say they really want
