My towns' motto is "The heart of East Texas".
We used to be known for the great amount of tomatos grown around here.
We're still known for our tomato wars and our basket making. *oh yeah!*
In our area we have the Texas State Railroad, a State mental hospital, and a city known for its roses.
We also go by The Piney Woods of East Texas.
A lot of good fishing spots, too.
