if you're using a cable modem, you'll have to release the ip from whatever computer the cable modem used to use before you plug it into the router
this woulc be accomplished by doing "ipconfig /release" in dos or in the run bar or wherever on that computer
also, do ipconfig /all in dos and you'll see some interesting stuff too
then you have to set the router to automatically get an ip from the cable modem, and it should pretty much just work after a while...heh
I have dsl myself, but I know my friends cable modem is always hard to configure with the router, so good luck
