my state: well, New South Wales is known for, um, well, great beaches that line the coast, the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley, Byron Bay (pretty and green) and Sydney.
my city: Sydney is known for the 2000 Olympics, its fireworks, its friendly people, its stunning harbour, its big bridge, its glam opera house, its pub crawling, its beautiful women, manly and bondi beaches (although its common knowledge to locals that they are not the best beaches) and its annual bushfires.
my neighbourhood: well, my area is probably known for not being known, if that makes any sense. its hardly ever mentioned, and is mostly filled with retirees and nanas.
