I play air bass all the frickin' time. Even worse when I'm shhooting pool and something rocking, or worse, that I know the bass line for comes on and I have this item about the length of my electric in hand, I'll go off right in a pool hall. F*ck 'em if they think it's weird. I enjoy it.
I also play air keyboards sometimes (the keyboard solo in "Subdivisions" is almost sure to set me off), air drums once in a while (my brother used to be able to follow a couple of Neal Peart pieces convincingly on air drums, it was a sight to behold), and air guitar very seldom (usually to punk.)
