To me crossing that line with anyone regardless of their sex is cheating. But a realtionship is whatever the people invovled with it believe it is.
If my g/f were kissing other girls I don't think I'd be just as upset as if she were kissing another guy but I think I'd still be pretty pissed.
As for hitting goes, some chicks are just asking for it. I know I'd never make the first move in hitting a woman but if I were attacked by a woman - I'd handle the situation just like I would with a man. I'd defend myself until it's no longer needed and then make my exit.
