It sounds interesting and I've heard of the concept before. If like you say a lot of recipes involve soaking, often with nuts, then I possibly couldn't eat those. I am allergic to all nuts (not legumes though) and have anaphlactic reactions. Also I'm allergic to clam and who knows what else. The particular chemical or enzyme that I'm allergic to in the clams - I'm told - is more concentrated before they are cooked so that would be asking for trouble.
Otherwise - sure I'd eat a number of "raw" things. I've eaten sushi before as well. I doubt I'd go to a "raw" restaurant without checking carefully to make sure the item I was eating was not prepared with nuts in any way.
