Well, hypothetically, if the Blues win ALL 6 of the games, they will be at 53 points.....9 more than Detroit

2 games......1 more

so all the Blues have to do is go 2-4-0-0 and they are beating Detroit.
If the Blues go 0-0-6-0, (or 0-0-0-6), they would still be 3 points ahead of Detroit.
Either way, the main point you have to consider the fact that 6 is a lot of games.
