The article mentions the failing power of Google bombs, but overlooks an important part of the Google algorithm as it throws up its hands and wonders why: PageRank is based on links to sites that use the key terms, and how often those links are followed.
To have a really effective Google bomb, you'd have to get your buddies to link, and you'd all have to regularly visit each others' links after Google started sending a spider `round.
It's still easily possible. Just takes a bit more dedication than most net kids can muster.
