Until Owens pulled his little stunt with the marker, how many of you had even seen an ad for Sharpie markers? Four weeks later, Sharpie was the "Official Marker of the NFL". On Sharpie's website is a "T. O. TD Ticker". Obscurity to spotlight in 5 seconds.
Sharpie is owned by Rubbermaid. I wonder if Owens bought stock in Rubbermaid before the big hoohah. If so, he's probably laughing all the way to the bank. So who's the ass? Probably the sports' media for giving Sharpie a shit-load of free advertising.
As for Horn:
He forgot to show what brand of cellphone he had. Haslett probably isn't the only one pissed off at him, the company that was supposed to be endorsed ain't too happy with him either.
