When D'Aleen let's go of his hand, Thantos starts to examine the shield he has just been given. Looking at it in detail, checking out the bindings, engravings and feel. Thantos adjusts the straps so it fits better on his arm. He then pulls out some rope strands and figures out a way to strap the shield to his back pack in case he needs to shoulder it for a bit. After he's done that he moves over to one of the doors and keeps watch, talking back to James.
"So James. Did you see anything out there that would come in handy? Do you know where you are and how to get out of here? "
