I see two possible reasons.
1 - Since they've already made their case, they would prefer not to appear as though they're relying upon new evidence to make assertions
ex post facto. It would weaken their credibility and cast doubt upon the value of the intial conclusions drawn from existing intelligence.
2 - US and British intelligence follow a policy of not commenting on leaked or confidential reports in order to protect their intelligence and its sources.
