I think they knew in advance that they would have a chance at Pettitte so they dealt Wagner to make salary room. It just seems really ironic that they signed him for what they were paying Wags.
Also what about Clements...
Will he be an Astro next year... A great chance to make up for letting Nolan Ryan get away.
